Recyclable and relatable to their customers, these curvy mannequins were created by our talented 3D Design team for Sports Direct's flagship store on Oxford Street. They wanted us to help them create a store environment with sustainability at the forefront, where all customers felt represented.
Working alongside Nike, we created a curvy base body shape that we felt was inclusive and representative of so many customers that shop within their stores. Once the dimensions and proportions were finalised our design team created dynamic running and yoga poses from the digital 3d drawing.
Using 3D technology to digitally draw poses allows any changes to be made instantly. Resulting in a 3D render showing all angles of the mannequin, ready for sign off with the client. A printable file was created from the renders and then used to produce a mould for the mannequins.
As with all of our clients they were able to test out a 3D printed prototype first to make sure they
were completely happy with the final look, before moving forward to production. Our no minimum order policy gives you the flexibility to trial the poses first out before making a final decision to produce.
A 3D printed prototype takes only a few days to make and can be with you from design sign off to shop floor in 2 weeks. We manufacture in Europe and have short lead times, so we delivered their mannequins within weeks, not months. Making their vision a reality without the long wait.

Not only are these inclusive mannequins fully recyclable, but they are also placed upon specially designed podiums made from the store's old recycled mannequins.
No strangers to innovation Sports Direct have become the first retailer to transform their old mannequins into new sustainable material used across their store by joining forces with MC Displays, and our sister company Thrive Group.
